Smash Ultimate

The stage was set for an epic Smash Ultimate clash between Albion College and undefeated Alma College. Alma, entering the week at an impressive 3-0, faced a resilient Albion team standing at 2-1. The series didn’t disappoint, with Game 1 showcasing Albion’s Seph Cartier on Sora and Ezra Moore on Young Link, putting up a strong fight. However, Alma’s Sean Kildea, displaying his prowess on Dark Pit, and David Wolfley’s exceptional performance, taking all nine stocks from Albion in Game 2, secured a 2-0 victory for Alma. Albion will aim to earn Program Points by facing Calvin next week, while Alma prepares for a challenging match against Adrian and a rescheduled bout against Calvin to wrap up the regular season.

Call of Duty: MWII

In the Call of Duty MW2 arena, Olivet University faced off against the undefeated Adrian College. Despite Olivet’s John Barry’s remarkable efforts in Game 3’s Control mode, Adrian emerged victorious with a commanding 3-0 win. Alejandro Contreras dominated Hardpoint with over two minutes on point, showcasing his exceptional skills. Jake Ybarra’s 60 kills led Adrian to another triumph, maintaining their undefeated streak. Olivet looks to secure their first win against a tough Trine team in the upcoming week, while Adrian braces for an intense battle against Alma, determined to keep their flawless record intact.

Rocket League

In the high-octane world of Rocket League, winless Albion College faced a formidable Alma College squad vying for the top spot. Game 1 kept spectators on the edge of their seats, with Albion narrowly losing by one goal. However, Alma’s Donovan Salters took charge, finishing the series with nine goals across three games. Mike Ravn’s hat trick in Game 2 and Jeremy Klooster’s brace for Albion in Game 3 added to the excitement. Ultimately, Alma dominated the series, positioning themselves for at least second place.
