faq

Students and programs are encouraged to compete in both the Live and Online Conferences! However, players cannot compete in the same title in two different conferences in the same season. For example, a player could play in both the Smash Bros Ultimate Live Conference and the Overwatch 2 Online Conference, but could not play in both the Live and Online conferences of Smash Bros in the same season.
If you’re signing up for a Live Conference, you can definitely sign up without a team! Block House will do its best to put players together from the same school.

Unfortunately, in order to ensure a satisfying league experience, Block House cannot allow single player sign ups for the Online Conferences. If you would like to sign up but don’t have a team, reach out to us at esports@blockhouse.live and we will lend our resources to get esports up and running at your school!

Block House will provide a live broadcast for all Live Conference matches and will stream weekly highlight broadcasts in the Online Conferences. We will do our best to give every team time on stream, but that will depend on the number of teams signed up. A full broadcast schedule will be released close to the season start.
The top teams from each division will qualify for the BEL in-person playoffs. The fall season’s playoffs will take place on the weekend of **INSERT DATE HERE** at **INSERT LOCATION HERE**. More details will be released as the season gets closer!
